Soils have been depeleted of their carbon stores over many years, primarily by the industrial generation of food. Scientists and agriculture are coming to recognise the potential for adding carbon back to the soil, but its a challenge. Thallo® contributes to this process by capturing carbon in the organic matter it uses in the manufacturing process and then re-presenting it to the soil microbiome as it is released from the fertiliser, as easily digested soil organic compounds, helping the carbon cycle to work as efficiently as possible. Over 30% of each of the homogenous granules is made up of carbon compounds. Listen to Michael Pollen discuss the challenges and hopes for soil as a carbon sink.
